Costs

We have a base in the northwest in Skelmersdale, Lancashire and also in East Anglia, near Woodbridge in Suffolk. If you are able to collect the equipment we enjoy spending time going through things with you. This is also possible when we personally deliver the equipment.

Baptismal pool

Hire Fee: £155 for a long weekend hire

Transportation:

• Option 1: You have the option of collecting and returning the equipment yourselves - and it will fit into the boot and backseat of any average car

• Pools are usually collected on Thursday or Friday and returned the following Monday or Tuesday

• Option 2: If you cannot collect and return the pool yourselves from one of our two bases then we offer a personal Delivery and Collection option from our Suffolk base (not from our Skelmersdale base at the moment)

  This is available at £50.00 standard for distances under 50 miles for one round trip - or at 48 pence per mile for further distances (round trips). Delivery counts as one round trip and Collection as another round trip

  We provide this as a personal service and are happy to help you erect the equipment if appropriate at the time of delivery or demonstrate how to do it and offer tips for the use of the equipment. We leave printed instructions with you for you to refer to

  When collecting the pool from you, we ask for it to be emptied, dismantled, cleaned and dried and all hoses drained ready for transportation when we arrive

Payment:

Booking deposit: If booking in advance, a non-refundable £50 deposit is required to reserve your pool. The balance of the full hire fee should be paid two weeks before your hire.

Damage Retainer deposit: All hirers pay a refundable £100 Damage Retainer Deposit which we hold while the equipment is in your care. It is refundable when we receive all the equipment back in the same good condition it was given to you. We will need your bank details to facilitate a refund

Payment method: Payment is by bank transfer and we send you a draft contract (for information) and invoice for full payment to be made by two weeks prior to the hire. Pools can be reserved with a £50 non-refundable deposit prior to this date. Last minute hires must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Refunds: The booking deposit is non-refundable, but the balance is refundable up to 4 days prior to the start of the hire. Thereafter no refunds are given should the pool hire be cancelled.

Birthpool

Hire fee: £245.00

for up to a four week hire

When collecting the pool we ask for it to be emptied, dismantled, cleaned, dried and hoses fully drained ready for transportation when we arrive.

Full instructions are supplied which are easy to follow.

Most hirers choose to start their hire two weeks before their due date.

Sundries

Extra days beyond the end of the four week period is @£10.00 per day. Do not worry that you will not be able to keep the pool until the birth. Any extension of the hire period is settled up at the end of your hire.

Extra new input hose-pipe can be supplied @ £2.50 per metre. Just measure between the taps and where you intend to position the pool and add on a couple of metres to allow for it going down to the floor and up and over the side of the pool far enough for it not to ‘jump out’.

Optional Disposable Liner: Some people prefer to have their own personal pool liner which fits inside the liner supplied with the pool. It folds over the rim. This is a personal choice and not mandatory. This can be supplied at a cost of £55.00 if in stock. Most hirers prefer not to have one as the main liner is designed for purpose.
